Just a quick note to let you know how pleased my husband and I are with the work CTCPP did on the exterior of our house. Lewis, the owner, was fantastic to work with and a great, clear, communicator. I was also impressed by his crew, their DAILY clean up of the area, and of course the finished product looks amazing. No, they didn’t pay me to say that :) Just thought I’d pass along the info.

About the owner, Lewis Johnson

Lewis has been working in the construction/painting industry since 1995. While most of his friends went off to college, Lewis started working for a custom builder while attending Delaware County Community College, in his hometown, Media, Pennsylvania (suburb of Philadelphia). He worked after school and on weekends learning at an early age the art of custom home building and the various trades and sophisticated skills required to create a perfect finished product.
While still attending school, Lewis was hired by a private contractor, Elias & Associates. Elias specialized in home remodels. As part of a smaller team, Lewis continued to learn valuable skills in framing, electrical, insulation, and drywall, all critical parts of finishing a basement. In experiencing each phase of the project, Lewis developed a passion for the painting and final finishing phase of the project. He knew that it was time to dedicate himself to his career as a full-time painting professional.
Lewis seized the opportunity to join a thriving, well-established company, Kyle Painting in Media, Pennsylvania. The owner, Ed Kyle, very quickly recognized Lewis’s talents. It is here that Lewis honed his skills and learned the meaning of true professionalism, craftsmanship, and respect in the painting industry. Ed Kyle’s crew was comprised of skilled, knowledgeable and highly experienced painters. Lewis worked closely with these seasoned tradesmen to increase his knowledge of the trade.
In 1999, Lewis moved to Seattle to start a new chapter in his life. He worked here for numerous people and companies while doing some work for himself. He gained more experience and knowledge working for Ken Ritland Custom Painting and Pinnacle Painting from 2000-03 in neighborhoods such as Madrona, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Capitol Hill, Madison Park, Green Lake, etc. He also attended Painting School at CITC/Construction Industry Training Council in Bellevue where he earned an A and commendation: “Goes Beyond” on his report card.
Lewis has a great deal of knowledge about every aspect of a job, from start to finish. From a young age, his work ethic has surpassed many. He is experienced in woodworking, staining, finishing, stripping and all aspects of planning, preparation, job coordinating, managing, estimating, project execution, the list goes on and on. Lewis is an “Experienced Craftsman.”
